The current Gladstone Elementary School was completed in 1973 and offers classes to students in Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Programs
Gladstone Elementary provides a comprehensive variety of programs and resources for its students. The computer lab is expanding steadily to keep pace with technological developments and classrooms are equipped with computers for student use. Our library is supervised by a library technician able to assist students in using research materials and in choosing books for their personal reading enjoyment. In addition to its regular academic programs, Gladstone Elementary is able to provide extra support to our students through the services of a guidance counselor, a social worker, a resource teacher, and several education assistants. We also have availability to a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a speech & language pathologist and a psychologist. We also have made use of several reading intervention programs such as: 1. Early Literacy Intervention 2. Later Literacy to assist middle year students strengthen independent reading skills. |
Registration
To register a student, please drop in at the school office during school hours (8:30-3:30 from September to June) and fill out a registration form. You can also download a copy of the form below: We require a document that verifies the child's legal name and birth date. Please bring along the child's birth certificate and your Manitoba Medical card.
We also need to know about any allergies or medical conditions so that we are able to formulate a plan to assist him/her in an emergency situation. School of Choice Deadline for Application is May 15. Official Forms can be picked up at the school office OR downloaded below. Applications can be dropped off at the school by May 15.
